Help! A small, thin piece of plastic fell on the top of my enamel wood stove and melted. How do I remove it without damaging the enamel?

Try letting it cool and then use a finger nail???

Get er heated up & wipe it off with a clean, dry rag...
Any remaining residue will probably burn off...
Whatever you do. don't use a blade or any abrasives on the enamel...

This "small, thin piece of plastic" wasn't an I-Phone by any chance was it. ;) :) I hear tell that they melt quite well when placed on top of woodstoves. ;)
