Cool bridge... wonderful harbor

Just across the way there is a Navy sub base. Down river is what looks like the worlds biggest salt pile. There are working tugs near the quais that are filled with restaurants. A good example of a working harbor

UNH is a decent STEM school. I work with a shiny new PhD from UNH who is pretty good.

That bridge is illuminated by colored lights at night. Just downriver is a grass park adjacent to the water, that has a good view of both bridge and sub base

Cross the bridge, take a right, and you end up at the Kittery dance hall. Caught the soggy po boys there

The bridge is over the mouth of the river , a tidal basin where the water runs both ways. Did they talk about the water turbines need to work in both directions?

There was a commercial project proposed for tidal turbines 15 years ago. at that location. I think it got shot down at it impacted the Great Bay upstream. It generated power with flow in both directions.

The current on the river is incredible because of the volume of water going in and out of great bay
