Question:

We purchased a used Old Mill wood stove with glass doors for use in our living room. Installation has halted because we cannot figure out how to install the fire brick. Don't know if parts are missing or what, former owner is of no assistance. Don't know where to turn. Any ideas? Many thanks!

Answer:

They are long out of business. There were no interior parts except angles that were welded to the sides of the stove to hold the bricks in place. The bricks were "split" firebricks, either 4 x 8 x 1.5 or 4.5 x 9 x 1.5 inches. You should be able to figure the positions out..it'll be fine even if it's not a perfect fit.
