I have a strange one.
I have just finished a thorough cleaning of my Classic 1200i stove.
One of the things I did was remove the exhaust blower to clean out the back chamber. After reassembling everything and reconnecting the power the exhaust blower turns on even with the thermostat turned off.
I even disconnected the wires that run to the thermostat to see if it would stop but it continued to run.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?

When you disassembled the blower, was the stove unplugged?

You could be in trouble. The combustion blower is wired to the control card directly.
I would disconnect the stove, take the card out and look for any damage.
Always use whole home surge suppression, and another small one for the stove.

IIRC, plugging in a Classic Bay 1200 will cause exhaust blower to run for 15 mins, then if no call for heat from thermostat, it shuts off. If it runs longer, then something up with control board. But let it run for 15-20 mins to see if it shuts down. Good luck.

Forgot to ask, did you turn up tstat and get red call light? And it started feeding like normal? If so, just shut down tstat and wait for it to cycle and shut down completely.
