Hello,

I finally got a used 1200i (been looking wanting one for years) and was trying to free the tube scrapers and one of the exchangers came loose. Is this something that can be repaired? I called the local quadra-fire dealer and they were saying the tech could fix with a punch!? I am fairly certain that the tubes are pressed in.

Thanks in advance.

the fix per the factory is that you pull the tube back out with the tube puller and then hit the end of the tube to spread so it cant fall down again

yes i knew you were talking about the 1200

most likely not if the tube has dropped you can give it a shot but with out the tube puller it will be tuff.
