my new to me quad was just installed, and I'm curious about the OAK. I've read that some need to be piped in through the back and into a plate on the floor. Mine has a black pipe running from the pot to the outside, under the exhaust. Obviously I would just connect the venting to that pipe. Is there a cheap flex pipe to use? I think the pipe is 2", but the smallest I can find is 3". I know the quad kit has a 2" pipe but it's over $100. Any ideas?

Have you checked at auto parts store for flex metal? Or googled it? You could also make an adaptor from metal pipe going from 2" to 3" I used 2" on the AE's oak. Can't remember if I found it at an auto parts store, or farm implement store. Only used a 2ft. pc., then finished with pvc pipe. kap

An auto part store will have the heavy duty flex piping...be sure you do not need to make a hard 90º angle, it's a wide arc to get there.

Auto part stores will also have adapters to decrease / increase connections. When I installed my OAK I pulled the exhaust port off of my Accentra FS, brought it to the store along with the Harman wall thimble accessory that incorporates the outside air and exhaust in one unit. Took a bit of time sitting cross-legged in front of the rack of parts, but eventually found a solution.

Used silicone fusing tape to seal up all joints.

Yes the auto store pipe doesn't flex much. I needed some extra length so I went with this one but ur dealer needs to order it for you: (broken link removed to http://www.russoproducts.com/otherproducts10.html)
