Anybody know the size of the nut and bolt that hold the sliding plate to the bottom of the fire pot. I had to replace mine and I used a
1 1/4 bolt and a 1/4 lock nut. Now when I clean the fire pot the bolt gets loose to the point the sliding plate just hangs.
thanks.

Try a drop of loctite blue on it and let it dry. Thats all i used for years.

It is not a standard bolt. The upper part it thicker, to hold things in place. kap
