I had the guys from a heating and cooling company put in a outside air kit today for my Quadra Fire Santa Fa. Since then the stove will not stau lit.

The stove cycles like allways when it starts up. Runs for about 5 min's. But the then the flame just dies out.

I cleaned the Thermo coupler. thinking that might be it. any ideas ?

Thank you

I would check to see what was pulled loose or out of position by the installers. The Santa Fe OAK connection just sort of dumps air into the area under the fire pot, so there's nothing that would cause this other than coincidence or something getting knocked loose. The TC is a decent place to start, but check vacuum hoses and electrical / sensor connections as well. Probably something fairly simple, but due to the install process and not the use of an OAK itself.

Did you check the thermocouple? Not sure if the Quadrafire need to be adjusted using a magnahelic gauge as some stoves do. Can you temporarily disconnect the OAK to rule that out as a source of the problem?

Thanks for all your help. I cleaned the vacuum hose, re-cleaned the stove, and Re-cleaned the thermal cooler. . And it is working now. Thanks again
