Feeling the Heat

Have had a recent downward turn in heat output, slow burning, and generally poor performance. I am going to do a REAL cleaning (blowers, etc). I am looking for fan gaskets and am probably going to cut my own. Question: what material and specifically what thickness co I use?
Thanks

I use 1/8 Lytherm gaskets cut from these. 1/8 thick

The updated gasket for blower is reusable if Ur interested.

Never heard or seen that. Where did you get it? The Lytherm ones work out to a dollar or two but Id pay a bit more to reuse one.

Quad replacement.(broken link removed to http://www.stove-parts-unlimited.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=812-4710) it's a silicone like material.
