Hello
I did some research on the Quadrafire Feed Motor Capacitor
If the capacitor starts to go, the feed motor will occasionally reverse for no good reason. (Maybe stop?)
A new cap resolves this issue see
http://www.iburncorn.com/new-forum/34-quadrafire/5254-quadrafire-contour-feed-motor-capacitor
Even If you have a stove with the capacitor in the junction box like a contour, the in-line capacitor part # part# 230-2150 from woodheatstoves will bypass the cap in the junction box just by plugging in the wires and resolve the issue!!
(broken link removed to http://woodheatstoves.com/feed-motor-capacitor-p-2062.html)
So this part would replace the upper connector to the Feed Motor shown with the Red Arrow in the first pic Below.
Note: This replacement capacitor is ONLY for the newer 3 lead Quadrafire Feed Motors. The 3rd lead is RED. The Capacitor is goes from this Red lead to reverse the motor to the Motor's black lead to forward the Motor!
The white lead is ground.
The older Quadrafire Feed motors only have 2 Black Leads and do not use this capacitor!
Last pic shows older feed motor connector that does not use this capacitor!
