Will a Quadrafire cb 1200 heat 1000 sq feet below 20f? Or what temp will it struggle at. House has average insulation.

50 - 60k btu should heat your place pretty well! How big is your current furnace/boiler? I think the wind you might see could be more of an issue than the outside temp. A bit of caulk to keep the drafts out might be a really good investment!
