I just purchased an older QuadraFire CB1200-1 from a gentleman who gave up on it. The igniter wasn't working so he purchased a new control board. Upon installation the unit ran its checks and when it got to the igniter the board fried. Any ideas about where I should start. I'd like to avoid popping another board.
Thanks

Check the ignitor with a Volt Ohm Meter. If it reads zero ohms it is shorted out and can cause problems!
