I recently installed a wood stove in my basement and the clearances are good but I'm interested in adding a removable heat shield above the stove so I can service a couple of valves. Right now everything is exposed.

I was thinking of an aluminum sheet and found this place on the Internet.... Has anyone used them? or can anyone recommend another place? Most of my local metal manufacturers will not deal with a one-off sheet unless I pay a really high price: https://www.metalsdepot.com/

One more question ... Besides masonry, cement board, and tiles, is there any other walling material that's considered non-combustible?

Thank you

All sheet metals are non-combustible.
