Just got an Englander NC 13 and noticed in the reviews that everyone seemed to complain about the blower noise. Well... I agree. That said, after searching through forums, while I have found several folks who mention using a different, quieter blower, I can't find anyone who referenced a specific make/model. I did see several people talk about using the NC 30 blower only to have others indicate it would blow too hard and disturb the stove characteristics. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I dont use the blower on my stove as I use it as a radiant heater. I think it heats my house better that way.

But if you need an option then:

Eco Fan no electricity and quiet.

Thanks... that's pretty interesting. Unfortunately, I need the fan as my stove is mostly in my fireplace, and I feel like I need to get the heat out of their as it sort of traps it... and have 11' ceilings in an old drafty house, so pushing the heat horizontally a bit before it goes vertical seems to help. Thanks!

You can't blow too hard. The biggest blowers for stoves are under 200 cfm. Wood furnace blowers are 1200-1900.
