We bought a ratchet rake this fall from TSC to use on the front of the S185 skid steer to help knock out saplings, trail smoothing, and possible food plot work. Last night we got a good 1/2" of ice and there is a hill on the drive that turned into a bit of an ice rink. A 4x4 F250 couldn't get up it without going into the snow on the sides.

So I figured I'd try out the ratchet rake to bust up the ice. Here are my results:

I'm looking forward to using this for trail making this spring!
 
They're an awesome attachment for any FEL equipped machinery. One of the best brush clearing/ground grading pieces for the money. Definitely a worth while investment, I love mine.
