Ravelli RV80
Hello everyone. I recently just moved into a house with a pellet stove. I had a company come in to do a cleaning and I was told the flame baffle was installed incorrectly. The next day i was leaving for work and found the baffle had fallen and was laying on top of the burn pot. I shut off the stove and now have to wait for the company to come back. I can’t find any info online on how this baffle is supposed to be installed and the manual is no help either. Does anyone have a picture of it being installed correctly. Thanks in advance.

Maybe here..

I had the same issues in my Roma insert. The baffle kept falling down and hitting the front glass. Fortunately, the tab you slide it onto (closest to you) kept it suspended and mine never fell down over the burn pot. I realized what I was doing wrong after I went to the retail store where I bought mine.

They had a Ravelli stand alone stove that wasn't running at the time, so I opened it up to see how they installed theirs. The bent tab was oriented downward, but the most important part of the installation was making sure it sits over the vermiculite plates and not ON them. Hard to describe, but in the 2nd picture I attached, this is how I used to install them, which is wrong. The 3rd picture shows arrows where the baffle sits above the vermiculite and the line across the angled tab shows how far above the vermiculite that it sits. Try to move the back tab upwards and backwards. You should feel it sit in sort of a pocket.

Hope this helps.
