Hi, I recently bought an old Victorian farmhouse in Iowa and need supplemental heat. I am looking for a good stove that will burn corn. I have been looking around the Internet and I am finding very little information or reviews. The only one that has gotten my interest is the US stove company’s American Harvest.

Many great stove companies out there.
You best bet is to visit a couple of local dealers and see what is serviced locally.
A lot of it will depend on what you are trying to do with the stove.
In reality a Pellet or Corn stove is a space heater so it may not do what you want to do with it.

I'm partial to Enviro stoves but there are other great stove makers out there.
The last year or so (low oil prices) has seen quite a lot of consolidation in the pellet industry.
So I'm not current on which manufacturer(s) are still at the top of the list.
A good dealer will steer you in the right direction and feel free to back up any of their claims on here.
Lot of combined experience on this site.

I'v had sn Englander 10-cpm for 8 seasons now. I have no complaints. Any pitfalls have been operator error. Great heat.

Hi Emily welcome, make sure to check reviews on the stoves you are interested in. Take time to research what stove best fits you.
