anyone have any recommendations for a wireless thermometer that could be used to monitor thermal storage tank temps? It would be very handy to be able to monitor tank temps from the kitchen instead of having to go down in the basement or out to the garage/boiler shed. Any suggestions appreciated. Chris

Check out my recent thread called boilercam-cheap (60 bucks on ebay) option for remote monitoring of my storage tank and boiler temps from a pc and/or cellphone, instead of walking out to the shed in this 0 degree weather. one camera with two preset positions does the trick in the dark no less. Maverick dual probe BBQ thermometer. Works great.

Dual duty - in the summer you can move the probes & sender out to your BBQ or smoker & leave the receiver where it is. :)
