Hi Folks,

I am new to this forum, however, have been browsing for a few weeks now. All these good topics have generated a few questions within my mind . Let me start with the first one. I'll post the others in dedicated topics.

I have a 2000+ sqft center hall colonial.

I am having a tought time deciding between the Regency F2400 or the Jotul F500. I prefer the Jotul, simply on the looks and styling, and I am willing to pay the extra bucks for this. However, I am not sure if it is as good as the Regency. ( I have heard a lot of good things about the F2400 stove.) However, the looks of the stove is plain to put it mildly.

I am looking for a long, intense, clean burn. with fine air control. Could someone shed some light on this for me.

thanks

ya know chief, asking that question will only get you an opinion based on who has what stove. Unless somebody has had both in exactly the same situation you will not get an accurate answer. Both are very fine stoves that will give years of enjoyment. If you like the looks of the jotul better, go for it. I have an oslo and I could say its the greatest stove ever produced but that would be bull chit, cause its the only stove iv had had in this house. No body knows who has the best stove

The best stove is the one you like. You will not go wrong with the Oslo. It's a first rate stove.
