I am looking for an insert for my masonry fireplace, the Regency H2100 insert is my first choice however Regency has discontinued this model. I have contacted the manufacturer as well as various vendors looking for a unit that may still be in their inventory with no success.

The representative that I contacted wrote that Regency may bring back the H2100 but there is no certainty.

I'm starting this thread for the following reasons:
1) Attempt to locate an H2100 that I can purchase and have installed.
2) Capture any comments of owners of this insert.

Interesting video from an owner:

If you can find one, its a wonderful stove. Simple to operate, great in putting out heat. Small firebox, but depending on your home, it might do quite nicely. I like the fact that most of the woodstove is in front of the heat shield, providing both convective as well as radiant heat.

Perhaps a rear-venting stove placed in a similar location might be an alternative?

Great suggestion.

I began reaching out to local vendors just now looking for a Hearthmount Homestead.

This looks like it'll be a really good fit, photos attached.

Unfortunately, this one looks like it's been discontinued as well. It seems like many models have been discontinued by various manufacturers due to the new EPA 2020 regulations.

What a shame, I wish I had decided to do this one year ago.
