So what are the advantages of relining my chimney?? Thinking about it this summer. Currently have a outside chimney that goes up along the house and is cinderblock with a clay tube up it - was used for years with a ng stove and some coal at one point. Its been good with the new wood stove - has a good draft and not alot of build up. To me it seems that lining it with ss will just really seal it up and last a long time.

Just look for some input and can answer questions that would help get a good answer - just figured I would start asking
