I made a post last week about my distribution motor getting noisy. Also,I don't have a lot of experience working on my stove. The dealer had serviced it for nine years, who has now closed. No other dealers within 100 mi.So hopefully I can learn to work on the stove?
I have never pulled the stove out from the wall.I will have to in order to change the motor out when the time comes.QUESTION IS:There are 3 bolts on the exhaust flange that disconnects the vent.Is that an acceptable way to separate the stove from the vent? And when I put it back, put some Hi temp sealer on the flange?
I found this motor on Amazon. Is Broan as good as the Dayton?http://www.amazon.com/Broan-Vent-Motor-99080464-60hz/dp/B002NC32PI#customerReviews...
Might have a few more questions latter...
Thanks
