Hello
I have seen this many times.
Very common in Travis and Whitfields, Breckwells and others.
The screws holding the flange on to the housing are too small and there is not enough silicone. Therefore after the vibration and heat from the exhaust blower it breaks loose so it can easily be wiggles back and forth!
Has anyone else come across this condition?

Pic 1 - flange is easily removed and no silicone on the inside.
Pic 2,3,4 - a little wire wheeling and abraision blasting to clean it.
Pic 5 - some very high temp header paint
Pic 6 - high temp clear silicone
Pic 7 - large stainless steel self tappers
Pic 8 - add silicone on the outside all around
Pic 9 - install the self tappers
Pic 10,11 - all done!

You can also wrap it with a lil foil tape if your feeling lazy and it’ll run just fine, but ya, that’s the right way to fix it.

I put 2 screws on each side like nailing a stud. It keeps it from moving
