Bought a house last year with a old Brass Flame KS 805 MH woodstove. I operated it last winter without any problems. I have a chimney sweep coming to clean the chimney and inspect the stove next week. If replacement is necessary what recommendations would you make? I've been looking at the Drolet Escape 1200 and Enlander 100 among others. The house is 1641 sq ft.

The Escape 1200 should suffice. It's a basic, N/S loading 2 cu ft stove.

Just to update... chimney sweep came yesterday. No problems with the old stove. He cleaned it and stated that it's built like a tank and he could not find any problems. Little creosote in the chimney but not excessive at all. He has been a sweep for 30 years and spent almost three hours with us giving a ton of information. So, thanks for the help on this forum !!
