Years ago, I owned an Eshland Wood Gun, which went through door gaskets ridiculously fast; and still leaked. I would end up using high temp RTV sealant and enjoyed the fumes...
Now I have a Tarm (scandek) and can tell by the smell and occasional puff of smoke that the gasket needs changing (it's entering it's 3rd season. Is it an easy change? Do I need any sort of sealant with it?
I have whatever I need for tools, I'm sure, but just don't want to get into a project and find surprises.
