We want to replace some of the firebrick in our Timberline Wood stove. Is there a way in which this should be done?

Is there an order or specific method to taking out the bricks?

Further, is the depth of the firebrick crucial to this stove?

Further, is there an owners manual for this stove?

Any information would be very helpful

W70,

assuming that your Timberline is like the ones I've seen try this.

Use a strong thin knife & remove a bottom floor brick in the center front row.

Next remove the rest of the bricks in that row from the front to the back of the stove.

You now have flexibility to shuffle the bottom bricks around to allow you to remove any damaged sidewall bricks.

ACE & Tractor Supply Company are two good sources for firebrick

Good luck with it.

Dave
