This is our fourth winter using the Resolute Acclaim as our daily stove, which came with the house. The back piece inside the stove (looking at the manual maybe this is the fireblock?) is falling apart.
The top piece is cracked, this has been like this for a while, maybe since we moved in I dont recall, but the pieces behind were previously staying up despite that. A few times they sagged a little but we just had to push up a bit to get them back up and they would stay put. But now they won't go back in there. There is some kind of material behind there, seems almost like Styrofoam.
Haven't dealt with this kind of thing before and was curious what fixing this would take for cost/effort. Would it just need a replacement piece for that back section? Is this kind of thing expected to replace at some point in a stove, or do people usually replace it at this point?
