I have this old splitter that probably 50yrs old. Its a big 2 way splitter. It was originally powered off the pto on a tractor to a vickers v20 single stage pump. The pto shaft ran the jack shaft and there was a #50 chain that turned the pump. I took the pto set up off and put a 10hp briggs vanguard. I know the pump is too big for the motor and yes it will stall the engine. It's splits 95% of everything we throw at it. Now the problem lies in the chain drive. It's a standard #50. Do the make a chain rated for higher speed like 3600rpm which the engine runs? The chain works but gets hot and starts to kink up after a day of use. I keep it lubed with atv chain lube
