I did my yearly sweep yesterday with my Soot Eater. This am while thinking about it I happened to find and watch an educational video on using a rotary sweeper. There were a couple good tips:
One thing that was said was to spin the head counter clockwise so you don't unwind the flex tube. That sounded OK until I thought about it. Wouldn't matter which way the liner was installed? Are they always supposed to be installed in the same orientation? Even so, is this a realistic concern?
Any pro tips on rpm? I tend to go easy as far as rotating speed and travel for that matter. Is the liner more durable than I think?
Edit: Thinking about a little more and trying to visualize I'm now thinking/realizing orientation does not matter. So rotating head counter clockwise is best?
