Hello I was hoping to get a bit of help on a issue we've been having at our new apt.
Whenever its a little windy outside theres a loud rumbling of a second or two coming from our wood fireplace. Sounds like thunder or someone slamming a dumpster shut. It can get really loud to the point its difficult to hear the tv and can wake us up at night.
We talked to maintenance and they sent out a contractor both of whom say they cant find anything wrong with it.
We can easily reproduce the noise by opening an outside door quickly. The noise happens whether the lever is open or shut on the chimney.
Is there anything that can be done to fix the noise?
