How come I don't have a tree guy like that?
Funny, my Wife said the same thing......for free, I can't argue.What? He didn't cut it to splitable lengths for you?
I'm terrible at ID'ing wood, but looks like Oak, Maple, maybe some Ash......I think there may be some Hickory in there too ?
That is definitely mostly ash. Some other stuff too. The Ash Borer got all of ours about 6-10 years ago. Great firewood. Seasons relatively quickly.

I used to live in SW CT and getting tied into tree service guys was great. Lots of hardwood around and less people who burned wood. The tree guys were always looking for a place to unload.
