Scoring some plastic pallets from work!

Taking about 10 home next week. I always thought they recycled them, but they are slightly smaller then standard 4x4 so no one wants them.

They will be right at home for stacking wood in my basement this Fall!

Seems like I'd rather use wood pallets in the basement and save the plastic pallets for outside, but I'm sure you're thought of that, or also maybe have a different setup than I do. Good score either way, I'm jealous!

I deal with a few hundred plastic iGPS pallets a day and I can't even have them. It's sad.

The shipping catalogs I get here at the farm want like 200.00 each for them.
I wonder if they are as heavy as the wood ones?

They are lighter than the good wooden block pallets but about the same weight as the cheaper stringer pallets. Block pallets are generally Chep brand and a blue color but occasionally you see them in other colors. They are usually made of oak while the stringers pallets are made of pine.

Unfortunely, all my wood is stacked outside on wood pallets. When I move all of that to the basement, I'll remove the wood palets and replace them with plastic ones.
