I am installing a new enerzone 3.5 in place of my old Vermont casting. My new Selkirk dbl wall pipe works with the what Selkirk calls male end down to match up at the top. The problem is the arrows are pointing down. I have a single wall reducer from 8”-6” at the ceiling since the old pipe was 8” and new is 6”. I have proper clearence to go back toward the wall with 6” dbl wall but the top reducer since it is single wall only matches up to the inside of the dbl wall pipe not the outside. Will this effect anything in the long run. I tested a very small fire and it pulled well with no leaking.
