Should I let my cape cod go?

Hey all of you guys.
I have my cape cod insert for two years now. I bought it based on look and dealer recommendation without knowing a thing about wood burning. So far I am happy with the stove, but after reading all the great things that people with a great experience wrote about blaze king stoves it makes me want to get a princess insert. So here are my questions. Does it make sense to any of you? I know I will loose a lot of money by either trading my cape in or trying to sell it on my own. And another question is more for WEBBY. I have a lot of respect for people who share their knowledge with others so even though i like my stove it made me wonder when I read that you were not a big fan of cape cod. Is there something wrong with cape cod stoves that I am not aware of? Anybody with experience with cape cod or bk princess insert please check in and share your experience it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

If it's heating your house well I wouldn't get rid of it. It's a monster heater!
I have concerns about the "hybrid" technology. Lopi did nothing to protect the Cat, no flame guards at all. In the past, any stove that offered no cat protection failed in a very short time. This is what gave the cat stove industry a bad name! They were throwing cats in stoves only for the sake of cleaning up the emissions. No thought was given to longevity. The Cod seems to follow suit in my opinion.Not only do flames from the front secondary tube blow through the cat, flames are also allowed to hit it on the back side. The cat sits so far back thats it's actually hanging out into the bypass opening a little. I had many warped parts but that was ok, it was a brand new design so I was willing to overlook that. Then the stove body cracked, it had to go back after that.
So really, cat failure is my biggest concern with the insert. Since you have a steel firebox rather than Chinese cast Iron like the freestanding stove, you shouldn't have cracks.

Thank you that makes me feel better knowing that none of the problems you had are not going to hunt me. The insert seems to be a high quality built product.

The Cape Cod insert and Cape Cod stove are two different animals. The insert version of the Cape Cod would be the Flush hybrid. I agree with Webby if you are happy then keep.
