New to The forum lots of interesting things on here to read and learn I picked up Fisher wood stove about week ago not sure of the year

Not that I can find I have not checked underneath the bricks but I do plan on checking their two

The markings won't be inside the stove. Some stoves have no markings at all. Some markings don't show up until you remove the rust and repaint them. I've seen welder's initials on the bottom of the stove & under the ash fender. My Baby Bear has 5 numbers stamped into the rear of the stove in the upper left hand corner.

Finished sanding and painting the stove got it outside for its first burn and then we'll take it in my shed still have not found any markings on it

The stove looks great! I'm not sure if the Canadian-made stoves were marked at all.
