Single use plastics being converted in Great Britain

  • Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.

We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.

We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
Changing petrochemical refineries to processing plastics is a logical and necessary step to start addressing this monstrous problem and creating a circular economy. Fuel is one of the refined products, but there are other options too, including making new plastics.

I thought it was interesting the new diesel ran cleaner. I wonder if that's because it's heated and condensed vs cracked.

If it gave 1mpg more and came at a price similar to regular diesel, truckers would be all over it as it would really show up as savings in the miles put on those trucks.

Reactions: SpaceBus
If it made a notable improvement in aviation fuel by increasing efficiency and reducing emissions that would be a nice gain.
