My wife is always telling me I have too much crap. I say that everything I have gets used. So I cleaned my chimney. I had 2 brushes. One was too big. I assumed it was the 8" brush that I used to clean the prefab chimney before I dropped the liner. I'll never need that again, right? Threw it out 2 weeks ago. Brought the smaller brush to the river to clean out that chimney. Noticed it was too small. Remembered that the liner at the main house is 5.5", whereas at the river it's 6". Suddenly remembered what the bigger brush was for

It was probably time for a new one anyway, now you can tell your wife thats why you dont throw things out, my wife is the same. Course she'll say its your fault and your an idiot ;lol

I am wondering where you found a 5.5" brush in the first place?

Whoops. But a 6" chimney needs a 6" brush whereas an 8" chimney needs an 8" brush. Never had a 5 1/2" here.
