On my long trip back from picking up the Heritage I went through a lot of roads that were very recently salted. The truck was covered, but the stove looked rather clean. I want to give it a good wipe down. I already wiped it down with damp paper and then dry paper towel. Any cleaning products to avoid? I was going to use a glass/multipurpose cleaner on the stone and cast iron.

Any comments, suggestions or words of warning?

I'd would wipe it down with bottled water and a terry cloth towel.

I'm with Savageactor7,

Clear water and a cloth towel, paper towel may just leave residue on the cast parts. The stove manual should have cleaning instructions for the stone.
