36" square tile, 9mm thick.

is this something i could use for a level 1 Ember protector?

Welcome to the forum
A stove make and model would be nice
In most cases that porcelain tile would work

Thanks! Ahh, i knew it only required level 1 ember.

but its for a Comfortbuit hp22 24x25 wide and deep. a 36" square slab with the stove 3ish inches from the back, will give me 5ish inches on the sides and 8ish inches on the front.

i find the retail hearth bases to be ugly.
