Question:
Is there an attatchment that will prevent sparks from exiting my two
foot long horizontal pellet stove vent without affecting the system? I
have a Whitfield Cascade model
Answer:
These pellet sparks are usually so small that a screen to stop them would be very difficult and would clog up quickly with fly-ash.
You can use additional Pellet vent to extend it away from the house and then a 45 to head it toward the ground. This can eliminate the possible discoloring of light colored siding that may occur with the simply Horizontal caps which install close to the wall.
