sparks and glowing ash...too many?

Read the thread .... I agree ..... 3 feet is a short flue. Adding 3 or 5 more feet will help on the embers. I have 3 foot straight out side wall to tee and then 15 feet verticle to flue cap, all 3" PelVent. I've never seen sparks outside.
