That’s one heck of a pile. I like your stacking method. Keeps it from pyramiding, but doesn’t alternate every row. I’ll have to try that.
Thanks. It creates very stable stacks, and when you pull wood from the stacks in the winter it prevents large “wood avalanches” from destroying all your hard work.

Here’s a pic during stacking. I like to put any odd length or shaped pieces down the center.

i have a stack that i need to get through...... then another stack behind that. my wife might be right, i need to stop collecting :)
