State and local incentives for renewables

Not exactly sure where this belongs. Mods please place appropriately. Seems as though there are some little known incentives available on the state and local levels. Might be worth looking into. I just e-mailed the town clerk's office to ask about a property tax exemption for wood burning in my town.
