Does anyone have a clear sense of whether the Step 2 regulations will go into effect as planned, or get pushed back to 2023 as some seem to advocate?

Also, should we expect a slew of new stove designs to hit the market this fall/winter to comply with the regs, or will the designs remain similar, just with lower emissions?

I do not expect the stove rules to be delayed. We have already seen a slew of new stove designs hit the market. Sometimes the design is similar, sometimes stoves are discontinued, sometimes it seems that current models are just retested (it's a new test method) and are able to hit the emissions target.

Now the furnace rule might be delayed but it's political.
