Hi folks!
I own a Stihl 023 that I bought about 15 yrs ago or so and need a new pull rope as the old one is frayed. Where is the best place to pick some new rope? I found one site that sold 250' for $20.00 but that would last me forever... I have bucked about 15 cords with it and it still runs great and still using original chain that I sharpen by hand..

Thanx,
Ray

I work for a Stihl dealer. We sell pull rope for $3.50 per 3 foot length. Sell it all the time.
Sounds like the way to go.. How does the 023 stack up against other saws? Back when I bought it they went for $300.00 which was alot back then but it has been reliable and much more powerful than the Homelite it replaced plus the vibration and noise of the Homelite was a killer..
