stihl av 034 super

anyone want to offer an opinion on this saw? My standard 026 is alittle week some times. What length bar works well with this saw? 24 inch or more?

trying to simplify: looking to buy a used 034. I run a 16 inch on my 026, sometimes I pull a 20inch. If the chain is sharp, the 026 works both, just works a little harder with the 20inch. thanks .


saw is sold.. asking $300 w/full case & extra bars and chains.

034 is going to work best with a 20" bar or less. 24" would be a maximum bar length and I wouldn't want that as my everyday bar.

034AV Super is just an 036 wearing old clothes.

If I already had a 026 I would pass on the 034 and look a little bigger. At least 036 or bigger. Yea Bigger!
