Hello,

This may be a stupid question, but:

Should the stove glass gasket be on the inside of the stove door, so the retaining clips for the glass press against the actual gasket? Thanks!
 
Depends on the stove there are many out there that the retainers press on the glass itself. If that's the case don't over tighten them and you'll be fine.
 
Shane is correct, my jotul castine has the clip against the glass itself.
