Quick question for the experts

I looked at a used insert and the glass gasket on the door wasn’t between the glass and the door. The gasket was between the retaining bar and the glass.

Was this installed correctly?

Thank you

The gasket for the glass on that unit is a flat, adhesive-backed, tape-style that should wrap AROUND the glass and seal against the door frame. It will also be between the retaining bar and the glass to prevent any damage to the glass. Your initial question is valid.
