Had the Blaze King Parlor rebuilt somewhat.

After 8 years of hard burning, here's what I had done,
All bricks replaced
bypass gasket replaced
New king glass and gasket
New combustor gasket; combustor was as new
labor to cut firebrick
entire stove repainted Blaze King paint
new door gasket door latch tightened perfectly.
The stove shop, a BK dealer, Northfield Fireplace, had two men who worked here 7 hours and did a fantastic job,$900.

14 man hours labour plus supplies, I’d suggest you didn’t get ripped off.

Price is very reasonable. I just dont know how 2 guys spent 7 hours doing that work. Regardless looks great and a good price

You sure they replaced all the bricks? Different colors and some look like they have the ash on them. Not that that is bad, I would reuse good bricks too.
