Homeowner claims this meets code. There is a 1" space behind sheetmetal on walls and there is a gap at the bottom. The hearth has 1/2" of durock under the sheetmetal.
No idea of the make/model of the stove.
I know it's hard to say much without specific information, but at a minimum, the hearth does not appear to be large enough.
I also assume that side clearance should be measured from the point on the side of the stove which is closest to the wall and measured on a line perpendicular to the side of the stove.
